Overview
The parish church of San Jose Obrero (Saint Joseph the Worker) stands in the Poblacion and dates from 1887. It belongs to the Archdiocese of San Fernando.
The municipality describes its facade as a classic design with pseudo-Gothic touches, including a flame-like arch over the main entrance set against a triangular pediment. Saint Joseph has been the town's patron since its days as the friars' Hacienda de San Jose de Calampaui.
