Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of discoverpampanga.com (the “site”), operated by Cybergenium Group, Porac, Pampanga, Philippines (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Using the guide

Discover Pampanga is a free travel guide to Pampanga. You may read, share links to and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy our content in bulk, republish it, or scrape the site to build a competing database without our written permission.

2. Accuracy of information

We research every listing from cited sources and an editor reviews it before it is published, and we show when details were last verified. Even so, businesses change their hours, prices and services, and events are rescheduled or cancelled. Information on the site is provided for general guidance and “as is”. Please confirm important details, especially opening hours, prices, event dates and safety conditions for outdoor activities, directly with the business or organiser before you travel. If you spot something wrong, please suggest a correction.

3. Things you send us

When you send us a suggestion, correction, event, deal, story idea, photo or business details, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, edit, verify, translate and publish it on the site and in our newsletters and social media, with credit where appropriate. We decide what to publish and may edit or decline any submission.

Photos need the owner’s permission. Do not send photos taken from someone else’s website or social media unless you own them or the owner has agreed to their use on Discover Pampanga.

4. Business listings and claims

  • Listing a business on the Basic plan is free. We may list businesses that have not asked to be listed, using publicly available information, and we may decline or remove any listing.
  • Business owners and authorised staff can claim a listing. You must be authorised to act for the business, and we verify claims before approving them.
  • Our editorial descriptions stay independent. Owners can update factual details such as contact information, hours and photos, which we review before publishing.
  • The “Verified business” badge means we confirmed the business and the person managing its listing. It is shown only on paid plans and is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality.

5. Paid listing plans

  • We currently offer Featured (₱1,899/year) and Premium (₱4,399/year), billed yearly, and Custom plans by agreement. Prices are in Philippine pesos and may change for future terms; your price is fixed for the term you have paid for.
  • A plan starts when we confirm your payment and the listing details, and runs for 12 months. We accept e-wallets, bank transfer, PayPal and Wise.
  • Plan features are described on our Advertise page. Paid placements are always labelled “Featured” or “Sponsored”. Paying does not buy an Editor’s Pick, a better position in search results, positive coverage, or a link that passes search ranking credit (paid links are marked as sponsored, as search engine guidelines require).
  • We do not guarantee any level of traffic, search ranking, leads or sales.
  • Plans are generally non-refundable. We review refund requests case by case; contact us within 14 days of payment.
  • You can upgrade at any time. When a plan ends and is not renewed, the listing returns to the free Basic plan.
  • We may suspend a paid listing, without refund, if the business provides false information, the content breaks these terms or the law, or the business closes. If we end a plan for any other reason, we will refund the unused part.

6. Affiliate links and advertising

Some links to hotels, tours and other services are affiliate links: if you book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This never changes our descriptions or recommendations. See our Editorial standards.

7. Other websites

The site links to businesses, booking platforms, maps and other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, services, prices or privacy practices. Any booking or purchase you make is a contract between you and that provider.

8. Our content and photos

The site’s text, design, logo and database are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. Photos are credited on each page: some are ours, some are used with the owner’s permission, and some come from Wikimedia Commons under their stated licence (for example CC BY or CC BY-SA), which governs their reuse. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • send false, misleading, defamatory, hateful or illegal content, or impersonate a business or person;
  • submit spam or automated submissions, or try to manipulate listings, rankings or click statistics;
  • try to access the admin area or other people’s accounts, or disrupt or overload the site;
  • use the site in a way that breaks any law.

10. Team accounts

Editors, researchers and business managers who are given an account must keep their password private, use the account only for their work on Discover Pampanga and follow our editorial standards. We may switch off an account at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, information on the site, from third-party websites or services, or from interruptions to the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, for paid plans it is limited to the amount you paid us for the current plan term. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines or other laws that cannot be waived.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will show the date at the top of this page. Changes apply from the date shown; for paid plans, material changes apply from your next term.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute will be brought before the proper courts of Angeles City, Pampanga, without prejudice to remedies available to you as a consumer.
