Overview
The parish of San Miguel de Masantol was erected on January 13, 1894, the last founded by the Augustinians in Pampanga. Its church was completed in 1901 and renovated in 1932.
The facade is unusual: a single central bell tower rising on semicircular arches, rose windows in plain walls, and large buttresses topped by religious images in canopied niches. Wikivoyage notes it is said to resemble a trident. It faces the municipal hall in Barangay San Nicolas.
