Overview
Santa Ana began in 1598 as a visita of Arayat and became a parish in 1756. Its stone-and-brick church was built from 1853 to 1857 under Fr. Vicente Ferrer, with a five-tiered belfry supervised by Fr. Lucas Gonzalez, and a second retablo was added in the 1930s.
The parish holds an ex ossibus relic of Saint Anne, with a certificate issued in Rome in 1796. The National Historical Commission installed a marker in 2013. Every December its patio hosts the finale of the Majigangga Festival.
