Overview
Villa Epifania, the Guanzon ancestral house, was built in 1931 and 1932 to a design by architect Mariano Pineda. It was reportedly the only all-concrete house in town at the time. During the Second World War it served as a headquarters for Japanese officers, then for guerrillas.
Film buffs will know it from Lino Brocka's 1976 classic Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang and from Tanging Yaman in the 1990s. It is a private house on Ocampo Street; view it from outside.
