Overview
On May 1, 2026, about 1,000 devotees joined Lubao's first Libad Apu Sto. Cristo. The image was carried by boat along two kilometres of the Porac-Gumain River, from the Bamboo Hub to Dalan Bapor, with some 30 other boats. The Santa Cruz parish priest explained that the image was first found in the water, so it is returned to the river where the faith began. Doves and fish fingerlings were released for peace and prosperity.
