Overview
Clark Veterans Cemetery was established in 1948, consolidating graves from older US military cemeteries, mainly Fort McKinley in Manila. It covers about 20 acres just inside the former main gate of Clark.
Almost 8,600 people are buried here, among them about 650 Philippine Scouts, US veterans of every major branch, their dependents and more than 2,100 unknowns. The site is owned by the Philippine government and managed by the American Battle Monuments Commission. Look for the marble Monument to the Unknown Dead, moved from Fort McKinley, and a Bataan Death March monument near the entrance.
