Ataol Festival 2026, Sto. Tomas

Sto. Tomas's October 31 casket festival, with decorated coffin booths by local makers and a children's trick-or-treat.

✓ Reviewed by our editors

Overview

The Ataol, or Casket, Festival celebrates the trade that made Sto. Tomas known as the casket capital. The first edition on October 31, 2018, at the Barangay San Vicente covered court, had 15 casket makers turning their booths into eerie displays, with coffins dressed up as race cars and sari-sari stores, plus a trick-or-treat for more than a hundred costumed children.

Local guides list it as an October 31 event. A 2026 programme has not been published.
