Overview
Sabuaga comes from sabuag, to scatter, and sampaga, flower. On Easter Sunday morning Sto. Tomas showers flowers in honour of the Blessed Mother, a festival that grew out of the dawn Salubong, when the images of the risen Christ and his mother meet. The first festival was held in 2010.
