Porac sits at the foot of the Mount Pinatubo massif in south-western Pampanga, and part of the volcano lies within the town.
By car
The fastest way in is the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, which has a Porac exit.
By jeepney
Most commuters change in Angeles and take a jeepney along the Angeles-Porac-Floridablanca-Dinalupihan Road. The Angeles terminal for Porac is beside Catalina Street corner Rizal Street Extension, a block west of Nepo Mall; the fare to downtown Porac is about PHP 26. Jeepneys also run from Guagua via Santa Rita and from San Fernando via the FVR Megadike and Bacolor, and there is a direct route to Dinalupihan in Bataan. The main terminal is at the Porac Public Market.
By bus
Since July 2026, First North Luzon Transit has run a daily bus to Porac from Avenida in Metro Manila via Dau and Angeles.
Getting around
Tricycles are the main transport, on roads that are hillier than elsewhere in Pampanga. Parts of Porac near Zambales are prone to landslides and flash floods.
