Overview
The parish of San Nicolas de Tolentino dates from 1575, making it one of the oldest in Pampanga. The church on Macabebe Plaza is 70 metres long and was rebuilt in its original Baroque style in 1904 after it was burned in 1899 during the Philippine-American War.
Inside it keeps an old-fashioned air, with its pulpit and many old ornaments. Jeepneys and minibuses to San Fernando leave from the terminal in front of the church.
