Behind the Juan Nepomuceno building of Holy Angel University, under the Latin words Laus Deo Semper, is the Center for Kapampangan Studies.
What is inside
Its museum tells the history and culture of the Kapampangans, Pampanga's main ethnic group. An art gallery shows modernist works by Vicente Manansala, the National Artist from Pampanga, and a section is devoted to Mount Pinatubo. Its libraries hold more than 4,000 volumes, and a bookstore sells titles on Pampanga.
Visiting
Entry is free. Register with the security guards at the university gate first. It opens from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and university students lead the tours.
The centre also works beyond its walls: it was a co-organiser of the 2026 presentation of a new history of Macabebe. Combine it with the Santo Rosario heritage walk.
