A family weekend in Clark, ride by ride

Water slides, animatronic dinosaurs, tigers and a gravity car: why Clark works for a weekend with kids.

Clark packs a surprising number of family stops into a small area, which means less time in the car and more time doing things.

Slides first

Aqua Planet is the big draw: more than 30 water slides and two wave pools, one for children and one for adults, across about ten hectares in the northwest of the Freeport Zone.

Then the dinosaurs

At Dinosaurs Island in the Clark Picnic Grounds, life-size animatronic dinosaurs turn a walk into a lesson.

Tigers and pythons

Clark Safari and Adventure Park covers 40 hectares on Jose Abad Santos Avenue, with a tiger safari and reptile exhibits.

Goats, owls and a gravity car

Just outside the zone, Zoocobia Fun Zoo lets kids bottle-feed baby goats and feed parrots, watch a bird show and a night owl show, and ride the Zooc Ride, a gravity-powered car on a zigzag track.

A pool to end the day

Back at the hotel, Swissôtel Clark has a separate kids' pool and babysitting on request, so the grown-ups get an hour too.
